Pond Evaporation - 8/13/03 I have a fish pond that is about 300 gallons. I have been noticing that I have about 1 inch of level loss due to what I believe to be evaporation every day in the hot summer months. Is this a normal rate for evaporation or is this excessive?   <it's quite believably just evap.
