Opistognathus
aurifrons (Jordan & Thompson 1905), the Pearly or
Yellow Head Jawfish is one of the most popular aquarium fishes
collected in the tropical west Atlantic. It deserves it's
status as the most collected and used Jawfish species; being a
light blue anteriorly, grading to creamy white and yellow toward the rear
half, and spending more time outside of it's tunnels than other jaws

Thalassoma bifasciatum (Bloch 1791), the Bluehead Wrasse (2), one
of the most common reef fishes of the tropical west Atlantic. Females
and juveniles yellow above, white below, with some dark markings.
Females to about five inches in length, males to near twice that. A 1.5
inch juv. in Roatan 2016.

Creole Wrasse, Clepticus parrae (Bloch & Schneider 1801) (3),
simply because it (mis)enters the trade from time to time. This reef
roamer is not often identified as a wrasse at all, as it cruises above
the reefs of the tropical western Atlantic. The Creole Wrasse almost
