 Dichocoenia stokesii Mile Edwards & Haime 1848, Elliptical Star Coral. Flattened plates or boulder-shaped. Corallites spaced evenly. St. Thomas 2014

Diploria strigosa (Dana 1848). Massive domes or encrusting plates. Valleys spaced 6-9 mm. apart. Have very fine distinct groove along top of ridge (ambulacral groove). Surface is smooth. Siderastrea radians. Lesser Starlet Coral. Encrusting plates or irregular domes. Colonies 4-12 inches in diameter. Corallites small (2-3 mm in diameter). Tropical West Atlantic. St Thomas 2014
 
Diploria labyrinthiformis (Linnaeus 1758). Typically hemispherical in appearance. Often with some valleys being parallel, spaced about 5-8 mm. apart, trough-like, appear double-walled.  St Thomas 2014
