Epicystis/Phymanthus crucifer, The Beaded Anemone. Have 200 or so tentacles that are short, tapering. Oral disc with small bead-like tuberculations emanating from the center. Reddish verrucae on basal disc. St Thomas 2014

Epinephelus adscensionis (Osbeck 1765), the Rock Hind. West Atlantic. To about twenty four inches in length in the wild. Shy, but occasionally collected for the aquarium interest.  St Thomas 2014

Erythropodium caribaeorum, Encrusting Gorgonian. Form encrusting mats that look hairy when polyps are extended, smooth, light colored, like leather when retracted.  St Thomas 2014
