Long, longnose butterfly fish ?
Hi, I have just discovered your site, so please forgive me if this question
is answered within the site. I have just bought a yellow longnose
butterfly, the one with the longer snout I believe. Which of the 2 is
the
more common?
<The "regular", Forcipiger flavissimus>
In the store, I saw him eat flake; so far (2 or 3 days) he
hasn't for me, so I am considering frozen Mysis shrimp. I have a
coral
banded shrimp in the tank, as well as some mushroom corals. Are these
is
danger?
<No, should get along>
If I keep him extra well fed, does the danger decrease? How
much
Mysis should I give daily if he doesn't accept the flake?
<As much, many as the fish seems interested in. Please see here re these
species: http://www.wetwebmedia.com/forcipig.htm>
Thanks for
considering my questions.
Mike
