Bodianus loxozonus (Snyder 1908), the Blackfin Hogfish. Western Pacific: Japan, New Caledonia to Polynesia. To nearly nineteen inches in length. Rarely imported.  Like other members of the genus, feeds primarily on hard shelled benthic invertebrates (mollusks and crustaceans). Adult in the Denver Aquarium.

Bothus pantherhinus (Ruppell 1830), the Leopard Flounder. Indo-Pacific; Red Sea, all of Indian Ocean to Hawai'i, Marquesas. To 39 cm. Found on sandy, silty bottoms. Males with prominent long pectoral fin on upper side. N. Sulawesi pic of a female.
 
Bryaninops loki Larson 1985, the Loki Whip Goby. Tropical Indo-Pacific; Australia, Japan, Indonesia, Philippines. To a measly 30 mm. in length. Found in silty areas on Gorgonians and Sea Whips. N. Sulawesi pix
 
Calappa calappa (Linnaeus 1758). Giant Box Crab. To 13 cm.  Indo-West Pacific: Japan to Australia and Hawaii. N. Sulawesi pix. Tan to orangish in colour.
