Chromodoris kunlei

Chromodoris lochi Rudman 1982. Pale blue bodied, black lines. Small gills, consistently colored tentacles and rhinophores yellow-gold. Feeds on sponges. N. Sulawesi and Nuka Hiva, Marquesas images.

Chromodoris magnifica. Indo-Pacific; Malaysia, Australia and PNG. To 5.5 cm. N. & S. Sulawesi images.

Chromodoris nyalya Red-Line Blue Sea Goddess. Occasionally found in Florida, S. Bahamas. To 3/4 ". This one off Bimini.

Chromodoris pallida. Indo-Pacific; Malaysia to Japan. To 3.5 cm. N. Sulawesi (Lembeh Strait) pic. 

Chromodoris quadricolor Ruppell & Leuckart 1828. Red Sea, eastern Africa... changing and being called other species heading into the Pacific (C. annae, C. elizabethina, C. magnifica).  To 4.5 cm. in length. Below: in Bunaken, Indonesia, an aquarium and in the Red Sea.

Chromodoris reticulata (Quoy & Gaimard 1832). Reticulated red/white pattern on back. East Africa to the Philippines. Here in N. Sulawesi.

Chromodoris vibrata (Pease 1860), the Trembling Nudibranch. Named for the continuous movement of its gills (other chromodorids exhibit this behavior as well). Possibly a Hawaiian endemic (but may be found in Okinawa as well). Shallows to 80 ft. To 1 1/4". Kona pic. 

Chromodoris willani. Pale blue bodied, black lines. Small gills, inconsistently colored tentacles and large rhinophores also speckled white. Feeds on sponges. Fiji and S. Sulawesi images.
