Coryphopterus eidolon Bohlke & Robins 1960, the Pallid Goby. Western Atlantic; Florida to the Lower Antilles. Yellow stripe extends from behind eye. To two and a quarter inches in length. Cozumel 2017

 Malacanthus plumieri (Bloch 1786), the Sand Tilefish. Tropical West Atlantic; Carolina to Uruguay and Ascencion Isl. To twenty eight inches in length. Cozumel 2017
 


 Kyphosus secatrix (Linnaeus 1766), the Bermuda Sea Chub. West and eastern Atlantic coasts, mid-latitudes to tropics. To 76 cm. Feeds on algae, mollusks, small crustaceans. Cozumel 2017
 
 Synodus intermedius (Spix & Agassiz 1829), the Sand Diver. To 46 cm., 1 kg maximum. Western Atlantic. Most common lizardfish there. Typically found on the sand, near boulders. Note dark spot on gill operculum for TWA ID.  Cozumel 2017
